A Northeast-based community association.
The issue
The nonprofit’s mission was to assist local entrepreneurs and business owners in their endeavors. Having received a generous restricted donation, deployment of grants restricted to eligible small businesses based on size and zip code requirements became an operational nightmare. The association needed an experienced marketing strategist to put all the pieces in place.
The strategy
We worked carefully to set up a program that would cover the bases for business owners wading into the tangled world of government grant applications – everything from effective bookkeeping and managing payroll to coordinated and highly functional information on marketing, public relations, operations, and tech support.
The outcome
The initiative was successfully launched and has been helping business owners ever since.
