Our parliamentary and governance experts work closely with governing committees, board members, attorneys and staff members to ensure good governance in legislative procedures, elections, board deliberations and record-keeping. Defined boundaries assist with creating an environment where organizational goals can be achieved. Appropriate regulation supports fairness. Regulation limits freedoms, but without rules, the environment through which democracy can thrive is diminished. In extreme circumstances, overly regulated organizations can limit their own potential, so balance must be sought.
